Before your call

What is deep hypnosis, and how is it different?
Deep hypnosis is a relaxed, focused state, a lot like daydreaming with your eyes closed, and you stay aware and in control the whole time. April uses an advanced, cause-based method to look for the beliefs and patterns underneath a fear, so you can work on them directly. She also teaches you self-hypnosis to keep using on your own.
What kinds of fears can this help with?
Both the fears you can name and the fears that hold you back. A few examples: flying, public speaking, needles, driving, and the dentist, and the quieter ones that run a life and a career, like the fear of speaking up, of failing, of being seen, or of success itself. These are only some of them, and whatever the fear, the work is finding what drives it and resolving it there.
Can I be hypnotized?
Nearly everyone can. Hypnosis is not something done to you, it is something you do with April's guidance. If you can follow simple directions and let yourself focus, you can be hypnotized, and most people are surprised by how natural and easy it feels once they begin.
What if I am skeptical, or worried it will not work on me?
Skepticism is completely normal, and it usually just means you have questions that have not been answered yet. Much of what people picture comes from how hypnosis is shown in the media, which is not how real, professional work looks. Before anything begins, April explains exactly what to expect and how the process works, so you go in informed rather than guessing.
How will I actually be hypnotized?
All hypnosis is really self-hypnosis. When you follow April's guidance, you are the one settling into a relaxed, focused state, and she is there to coach you through it. April is a Consulting Hypnotist certified and registered with the National Guild of Hypnotists, with advanced training in the 5-PATH system, and she holds your sessions to professional standards of ethics, respect, and confidentiality.
Is hypnosis safe, and will I be in control?
Hypnosis is a relaxed, focused state of attention, and you stay aware and in control throughout. It is not right for everyone. If you have a serious mental health condition, a history of trauma, or are under a provider’s care, talk with them first. April will also cover this on your free call.
What if I am in crisis?
Hypnosis is not crisis care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US) right away. In an emergency, call 911.
How long is a session?
Sessions run between one and two hours, depending on what we’re working on. That leaves time to settle in, do the work without rushing, and come back out gently. April will tell you what to expect for your sessions on your free call.
How many sessions will I need?
The Revitalize Hypnosis Method is a structured program of about five weeks: five private hypnosis sessions of one to two hours each, plus five progress sessions. You can see the path and the end from the start, and April shapes the details around you on your free call.
How will I know it is working?
You tend to notice it in how you feel and think first, and then in what you do, often in the moments that used to trigger the fear. Everyone moves at their own pace, and April checks in on your progress throughout the program.
Is this online?
Yes, entirely. April works only online, by secure video. It is a deliberate choice: clients go deeper from a familiar space where the subconscious is already at ease, rather than a clinical office. You can do the work from anywhere.
I have never done online sessions before. Will that be a problem?
Not at all, and April guides you through the setup. She checks in with you before your first session to make sure your device is ready, and it works on a computer, laptop, or phone. If the connection ever drops, you simply reconnect and pick up where you left off.
What does the program cost?
Every program is shaped around the individual, so there is no one-size-fits-all fee. April shares your program and its cost on your free call, once she understands what you want to change. The call is free and there is no obligation.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to move a session, and April will find a new time. Sessions canceled with less notice may be charged. If you have a technical problem or an emergency, just reach out and we’ll sort it out together.
Is what I share kept private, and are sessions recorded?
What you share with April is kept confidential, except where the law requires otherwise. Sessions are only recorded with your permission, and only for your own use. Please don’t email health details; share them on your call instead. You can read more in the privacy and confidentiality note.
How do I know it's right for me?
That is exactly what the free breakthrough call is for. April only takes on clients she genuinely believes she can help, so the call is where she tells you honestly whether the deep hypnosis method fits your situation, before you commit to anything.
